The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Lake Ontario from Sackets Harbor to Oswego...



* Until 115 PM EDT.



* At 1222 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from Pillar Point to 20 nm northwest of Oswego, moving

  east at 45 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Oswego, Mexico Bay, Southwick Beach, Sackets Harbor, North Pond,

  Henderson Harbor, Westcott Beach, Selkirk Beach, Stony Point, and

  Sandy Island Beach.
