The areas affected include...

  Waters from Baffin Bay to Port Mansfield TX from 20 to 60 NM...

  Waters from Port Mansfield TX to the Rio Grande River from 20 to 

  60 NM...



At 213 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable 

of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were 

located along a line extending from 53 nm southwest of East Breaks 

228 to 45 nm east of Laguna Madre, moving northeast at 10 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek

safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

  Long Island Sound East of the Mouth of the Connecticut River...  

  Peconic and Gardiners Bays...



At 329 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms along a line 

extending from Shinnecock Bay to 11 nm E of Shinnecock Inlet, moving 

NE at 35 kt. 



Thunderstorms will be near...

  Napeague Bay around 355 AM EST.

  Gardiners Island and Montauk Shoal around 400 AM EST.

  Montauk Point around 405 AM EST.

  Western Block Island Sound around 410 AM EST.
