The areas affected include...

Anegada Passage east of Virgin Gorda and Saint Croix south to 17N...

Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the

coastal waters of Saint Croix...



* At 503 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, and possible

  waterspouts. These strong thunderstorms were located across the

  offshore Caribbean waters, about 20 nm SE of St. Croix, moving

  northeast at 15 knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Mainly open waters of Anegada Passage east of Virgin Gorda and

  Saint Croix south to 17N and Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from

  10 NM to 17N, including the coastal waters of Saint Croix.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service

office.



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, heavy downpours, and possible waterspouts.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
